Blue Army Hockey Club Tier 1 program will provide elite athletes an opportunity to train and compete at the U15, U16 & U18 levels against other Minnesota based teams as well as Tier 1 team on the national level. Blue Army's philosophy stems from the MAP South model which poses 13 years of success. We dedicate ourselves to Developing High Character Athletes all while providing an educational and fun environment.

Blue Army Hockey Club will host three Tier 1 teams during the 2019 Fall Season. U15, U16 & U18. Players eligible must be born between 2001 - 2004 and have played on their associations or High Schools top team during the 2018-2019 hockey season.

U15: 2004 Birth year

U16: 2003 Birth Year

U18: 2001 & 2002 Birth Years

Roster will include 10 Forwards*, 6 Defensemen, and 2 Goalies.

Players will be hand selected by Blue Army Directors, Coaches and MAP South Hockey Staff during the course of the 2018-2019 Hockey Season.

*18s will carry 12 forwards


The Blue Army Tier 1 Season starts the last week of August and will conclude the first weekend of November. 

U15 & U16 will receive 20 Hours (U18 10 Hours) of practice over the course of the season. Practices will be held at St.Thomas Ice Arena and West St.Paul Arena. All practice at STIA will offer access to the new MAP South Training Facility. 

Each team will participate in up to three (3) showcases. Potential Showcases are the NAHL Showcase, USHL Fall Classic, Western States Invitational, Shattuck-St.Mary's Showcase and Omaha Fall Showcase. 

Ten (10) scrimmages will be played by each team throughout the season against other Tier 1 programs around the Twin Cities and the Midwest.


Blue Army will supply each player with jerseys, shell and socks as well as CCM White Helmet and CCM Navy Gloves. Gear must be return at the conclusion of the 2019 Blue Army season.


$995 per player. An initial security deposit of $250 (non-refundable) will be due 2 weeks after official invite has been received. Payment plans and pay in full options will be available for all selected players.

**Players will receive a full refund if they are selected to play in the Upper Midwest High School Elite League**
