Attentional Training With Top Gun Hockey
Blue Army players have the opportunity to add attentional training through Top Hockey Hockey. Adding Top Gun Hockey to Blue Army brings cohesiveness with your off season training. Blue Army will fill your schedule in April, May and August. In June, July and August, Top Gun Hockey will provide professional coaching, individual skill development and small area game settings to further your athlete's development. With help from the MAP South coaching platform, Top Gun Hockey brings a flexible summer training schedule to give multiple sport athlete's options to continually improve their hockey skills.

MAP South Hockey Involvement
MAP South Hockey Staff and Instructors will run and or assistant in weekend practices at MAP South Hockey that follow or proceed drylands. Our MAP South Coaching staff will work on individual puck skills and skating with the same philosophy that is used at MAP South Hockey over the last 13 years.

Our Program
The Blue Army Hockey Club is the Junior Development Affiliate of MAP South Hockey. MAP South Hockey was founded over 15 years ago to provide athletes the opportunity to compete alongside other top players and to be challenged and mentored by elite coaches. The MAP South Hockey development model is fully aligned and supportive of MN Hockey and community based teams. MAP South Hockey’s commitment to athletes and parents is to Develop High Character Athletes while providing the best long term development for on-ice, off-ice and Strength & Conditioning training for up to 8 months per year. MAP South Hockey recently acquired the MN Steeldogs AAA Hockey Program as our foundation for the Blue Army Hockey Club. Current Steeldogs, MAP South Hockey and all other athletes in the SouthEast Metro will form to become the Blue Army.
Community Based MN Hockey, The Blue Army AAA Hockey Club and MAP South Hockey is the only development model required to mold your athlete into the best player and person on and off the ice.
Commit to Something Bigger than Yourself!
The Blue Army Hockey Club honors the history of MN Hockey and the SouthEast Metro. Our foundation is built upon athletes and families that are hardworking and passionate about the game.
The Blue Army Hockey Club understands the importance of flexibility and family. MAP South Hockey has constructed our program to be multi-sport friendly and flexible for all participants. We will stress the importance of making it to the majority of practices because we know personal and team growth will elevate, however, nothing is more important than our multi-sport athletes and being a family.
The Blue Army teams will play in the months of April and May, taking June and July off to return in August for a strong, fun and competitive finish to our season. Teams may choose to use some hours of their allotted practice time in September to get ready for Association tryouts.
All Blue Army teams will get touches with our elite MAP South Hockey Coaching and Goal tending staff. With 13 years of experience, our team has made a great impact on thousands of players, including many that made it to the professional ranks. All Blue Army members will be be exposed to EVO Ultra Fit, our strength & conditioning program specifically designed for hockey players.
The Blue Army will practice at Woog Arena, West St.Paul Ice Arena, and St.Thomas Ice Arena.
Financial Assistance Application
MAP South Hockey and Blue Army Hockey has a commitment to the game of hockey. We are aware that sometimes there family situations which can affect an athletes ability to participate due to cost. MAP South Hockey will consider those situations to assist in allowing your athlete to participate in our program. The completed form and supporting documentation can be mailed to our corporate address or emailed to Stephanie.Osborn@mapsouthhockey.com
